Happy New Year, Everyone

Happy 2010!

It's a new year/decade, and I have two resolutions:

1. To be a nicer person

2. To be one of the best dressed girls of the decade

(Obviously with number two, I won't get recognition since I'm not famous, but you know. One of the best dressed girls of the decade in my social circle.)

Oh yeah, and:

3. To post more to Suburban Glamour

I haven't posted since August. And a couple days ago I was thinking about my fashion and said, "I had a blog...shoot, I can't remember its name..." I had to go on a friend's profile to find it. (Joanna Eberhart - highly recommend her cooking blog, it's fabulous!)

Anyway, I'm going to be "promoting" my blog on the TeenVogue forums and peeking at other fashion/lifestyle blogs to get some ideas, and possibly some new readers. So expect SG to be totally up and running within a few months.

Back to School

What I wore: Green shell, white bermuda shorts, statement necklace, sandals (I'm too lazy to take a picture)

Other good looks: 

1. white tank top, sky blue skirt, patent black belt and beige Keds all topped with a yellow cardigan

2. purple maxi-dress with grey shrug and the flattest sandals I've ever seen

3. floral chiffon dress with gold skinny belt and red flats

Without pictures, you really can't tell how great they were, but I'm exhausted.

Further proof I need to get out of here: Someone suggested we write a yearbook story on Wal-Mart. Oh God.

An innate sense of style this chic doesn't come around all that often.

The "fashion crowd" can say whatever they want about Mrs. Obama...but there will never be another Mrs. Kennedy. She was in a class of her own.

I have to let you all know about this great game you can play to earn some $$$. Bluefly's Who's Got the Gossip game. Head over to http://www.bluefly.com/ and scroll to the bottom of the page. Basically, they give you a little snippet of gossip (like, "OMG, they were all over each other") and you have to select the character you think would have said that. (Just a tip, the gossip isn't based on episodes.) You can win up to $5,000 that you can spend at Bluefly. I haven't scored anything yet, but a friend of mine won $30 yesterday.
